Translator qualifications

- Proven translation experience – scientific, medical, or technical
- Native-level fluency in the target language
- In-country experience, with timeline depending on role in the project
- Field-specific academic credentials or certifications preferred; can be replaced with proven experience
- Good judgment and ability to ask questions
